Onley Park Youth Club at Onley Village Hall
A club for young people from the age of 9 years.
Since the youth club re-opened in January 2014, the average attendance has steadily increased and we now have over 20 members.
The young people have taken part in a variety of activities such as dodge ball, fruit kebabs, quick pizzas, creative mugs, board games, table tennis, making pancakes, anti bullying awareness and many more.
They have enjoyed taking part in the activities and consultations with the young people have helped staff and volunteers to provide the activities that the young people want to do.
We now have two parent volunteers supporting the clubs activities.
The club now meets every Thursday evening during school term time from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Onley Village Hall.
The club's current focus is to obtain resources for use by the young people such as foot balls, dodge balls, craft paper and paints, wool, knitting needles, pva glue, tennis racquets, tennis balls, badminton net and stands, badminton racquets, shuttles, scissors, pencils, rubbers, paint brushes, play station skipping ropes, Xbox, volley balls and net. If you would like to donate to the club, please contact the Parish Council Clerk.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
During October the young people made coasters, designed T-shirts, Halloween cookies and pumpkins, learnt to cook chicken curry.
