Both clubs welcome players of any standard including those who have not played before and charge £2 per session including tea and biscuits.

Short Mat Bowls is a very popular club and meets every Thursday morning from 9.15 to 11.30am and at a joint session with the New Age Kurling group Tuesday afternoons from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in Barby Village Hall (Main Hall).

Players are welcome to attend either or both sessions.

New Age Kurling

New Age Kurling

New Age Kurling is a form of the original game but adapted so it can be played indoors on any smooth surface and by players of all levels of physical ability, including those in wheelchairs.

The club runs a joint session with the Short Mat Bowls group every Tuesday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in Barby Village Hall (Main Hall).
